Hala Printing Press started on First May 1984 in Aluliah Quarters in Riyadh, capital of K.S.A. The administration has endeavored from the first instance to develop it and make a strong competitor to others. It has created in a short time an outstanding name.
On 1991, the company offices were transferred to another place in Al Maazar Quarters in Riyadh (As a result of expansion). In 1995 a machine for gluding magazines known as Bony 5 Muller Martini with stapling Muller Martin machine.
In 1996 the printing section was supported by a number of machines such as ‘IMAGESETTER” for separating the films, a printing machine colour 70 50, scanner lino type which gave the work a strong push forward the company continued in its policy for developing the work. In 1997 a machine Gio Hidel Berc 4 was bought and also a machine for folding, binding and gluing of packs Media 100 Bobst.
The company continued pushing forward, creating a quality jump when they inaugurate a factory for packaging in the third industrial zone in Riyadh on October 1998. this factory was equipped with the update machines for binding folding, manufacture of cartons. The machine Heidelberc 8 was bought. Hala Printing was the first company Gulfwise to own this machine. In the same year a machine SM102-5 with a folding brand stahl and machine SM CD were bought. on 2001 the machine CIP with machine star plus were bought with Triple scissor.
On July 2004 Hala company signed a transaction with high value of SR 50,000,000 for purchase of Web Roll machines of high efficiently plus Speria 102 machine and Hugo Beck machine for packaging magazines. In 2005 we bought the machine sheeter brand Pasaban for converting the paper from roll to sheet and also Sherpa machine for proof printing of Big size and a new machine “Plus Bravo”.
On January 2006 the Saudi Group for Research and Marketing owned Hala Printing Company. Nowadays , Hala is working within this Giant group.
